I also receive PDF quotes and invoices directly into my Xero accounting software so I can easily keep track of expenditure. What I like most about Buildsmart is that like me they are constantly thinking about my properties, what I can do to improve them, and even send me a short email & video if they spot something untoward if they happen to be in the area driving past one of them. ‘Buildsmart did major remedial maintenance for five flats (22 bedrooms) owned by us between Jan 2017 and May 2017. They kept to their budget. Their successful coordination of a project of this size showed that they have good follow up systems, and are excellent at liaising tradesmen and materials in a timely manner. The same systems are used to ensure a high level of quality control. Their communication with both the client (us) and with all the tradesmen over the whole 4 months of the project was clear and transparent throughout. Whenever there was new work discovered that needed to be done, I was contacted promptly and shown the problem on video, with clear evidence and explanation, before any new work was started. The integrity shown by the project manager, site manager and their team of tradesmen was beyond doubt, as was their commitment to a thorough and systematic completion of every aspect of the project in repairing and developing our flats in Harbour Tce. We engaged with Buildsmart to install a wall and cavity slider in our master bedroom as well as paint the exterior of our home. We were thrilled that Buildsmart were able to begin and finish both jobs within our expected time-frame, with both completed to a high standard. There were a few times during the project where communication could have been a bit better (this was generally around the delivery and moving of the scaffolding), however with the job now complete we have nothing but praise and gratitude to the team at Buildsmart who did everything they could to ensure they met our deadlines.
